Greek Yogurt Bagels

A quick on the go recipe that can be switched up with WHATEVER flavours you want. Bagels are usually fatty, filling and made with so many ingredients! These bagels have three simple ingredients (as the base) that are accessible and affordable, AND they take about 30 mins to make. I've provided recipes for two different flavours that are easy to modify from savoury to sweet! Give them a go and let me know what you think!

Ingredients (8 Bagels)

2 cups whole wheat flour (all purpose works well too)

4 tsp baking soda

2 cups plain greek yogurt (500ml)

PLAIN bagels - add 1/2 tsp salt

Garlic & Herb

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/8 tsp oregano (dried)

Cinnamon Raisin

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tbsp honey

1/4 cup raisins


  1. Preheat oven to 375F

  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, baking soda and spices, mix.

  3. Add the greek yogurt and honey (if making sweeter bagels)

  4. Dust the counter with flour and begin to knead the mixture.

  5. Create a skinny cylinder shape with the dough and divide into 8 portions to make into bagel shapes.

  6. Bake for 25 mins (they should be soft on the inside.

  7. If storing in the refrigerator, warm when consuming.

  8. Easily frozen and simple to eat!
