Greek Yogurt Breakfast Cookies

Who doesn't like a cookie for breakfast? BIG secret here, I'm a huge Cookie Monster! I LOVE COOKIES!!! I have been experimenting with different types of ~healthy~ cookies involving oats. That way I can stuff my face with two delicious cookies at breakfast and be satisfied. These are a great because they're packed with protein, calcium, and fibre. I also added some dark chocolate covered raisins to help my sweet tooth! Give these a try and enjoy your cookies and cup of Joe in the morning!

What you're going to need is come greek yogurt (its full of protein, calcium, and actually has less lactose than other yogurts). You're going to also need some eggs, whole wheat flour, and obviously rolled oats. I only added a bit of honey to sweeten, but spices are what flavour up these cookies!


400 g Yogurt

1/4 tsp Baking soda

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp cardamom

1/4 tsp ground clove

1/3 cup whole wheat flour

2 eggs

1 1/3 cup rolled oats

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp honey

OPTION: 1/4 cup of dark chocolate covered raisins (I like Brookside because they're not super sweet)


  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. In a medium bowl, mix oats, flour, spices, and baking soda.

  3. In a small bowl, mix yogurt, vanilla, and eggs.

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry, and mix. The batter should be sticky.

  5. Fold in the dark chocolate raisins (raisins, chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds - anything)

  6. Dolup the cookies onto a baking sheet with parchment paper. Evenly space out the cookies because there is baking soda in here so they will expand!

  7. Bake for 15 mins, cool on a cooling rack and ENJOY!
